  My challenge for myself is going to be to get out and start walking and to lose 5 pounds by the end of summer and if I can do that I know with all your help and encouragement I can keep going and lose more. My biggest thing is eating late at night and I want to stop that, it is my hardest thing to do so it is a major challenge too. Gee I have a lot don't I? Maybe I better stick with one for now.
 
Good News:
      Well, what I thought was going to my my summer challenge, I ended up accomplishing in just over a week, and I am so proud of myself. I could not have done it without all the support I get here. My confidence has improved too. Thanks to you all.
 
     Challenge 1: No more night snacks. Done it.
     Challenge 2: Lose five pounds. Done it.
     Challenge 3: Walk every other day for 30 minutes.
     Challenge 4: To keep a diary when I am on   vacation so I won't slack off.
   I am going to find this very hard to do without being able to go online every day and see where I have got some support and encouragement to keep trying. I will so very much miss you all. But I won't be leaving until the June 29 and I may not be back until sometime in August but if I get somewhere where there is a computer I will be checking in on you all and looking for some hugs. Hope each and everyone of you have a great summer. Keep up the good work. 

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting Hi all, as some of you already know I will be leaving for vacation soon to Nova Scotia and after not having gone anywhere for the past two years because of my husbands cancer, we are both really looking forward to it. He has been doing good now since December and he has the go ahead from all his doctors so that is exactly what we are doing. Anyway I have made a list of challenges for myself that I am going to try to achieve over the summer holidays and here they are

. 1. Go walking early every morning for thirty minutes weather permitting.

2. Drink at least 8 glasses of water daily.

 3. Remember to do some stretches before walking each day.

4. To keep the calorie intake low and eat meals in moderation. Try to avoid sweets, eat fresh fruit instead.

 5. Keep a food diary while I am gone so I can let you all know how I have done and maybe get some feed back later as to whether I was doing it right.

 6. Try to lose at least 10 to 15 pounds while I am gone. and lastly,

 if I get access to a computer to drop by and say Hi to all. These challenges don't seem to be too unreasonably hard so wish me luck. I won't be back until late August. We will be leaving on June 29th. My thoughts and good wishes and support will be with you all over the summer. Hang in there and continue to go for your dreams.
